How late can squash be planted in zone 5/6?

    I wanted to put in some spaghetti squash in a spot I have free- too late?? I am thinking it's not but thought I'd ask :)

    Shooting from the hip here. I planted mine in zone 8b in February. I am still picking. I am about to plant again on Father's day weekend. I will get squash but smaller and fewer due to the heat. I've always treated all cucurbits (watermelons, cucumbers, squash (all types) a spring summer fall crop. I won't get any in the winter because they just don't like the cold below about 45 degrees F.
