I need to need to get her dried up this week if possible. Do I just stop milking her?
    Thanks

How easy this will be depends on how long she has been fresh and how much she is producing. When I dry up my girls, I first go to once a day milking to cut back on their production. I do this for a few days to a week and then go to every other day for a couple times and then see how she does without being milked. I then only relieve her if her udder gets hard.

Oh thank you! I will try that. She is a first freshener, milking since April. I went to once a day a couple of months ago.
