We don't even have our land yet (looking), but while searching for home building sources, came across this site if anyone interested..a delivered, nearly fully functional small home from a steel shipping container..what will they think of next!! http://houseinabox.com/index.html

We'd be looking into something more conventional (possibly panelized, tho I'd love steel framed) when the time comes, and curious if anyone has dealt with this company. Not having any experience with land/home financing at this stage, just wondering, for my own learning curve, if their's is a typical financing arrangement, a better deal or something to be wary of?

    Thanks in advance:)

Love the House-In-A-Box link. Wonder what they cost, though - didn't see any prices listed.

    Thanks

That house in a box would make a neat bunkhouse for when the kids come to visit.
Course it'd maybe be cheaper to get an old trailer house for that.
I requested pricing just our of curiosity.
