i have one rabbit that i keep mainly so i can gather the poop for the garden. i'd like to put her out in a tractor, mainly because it seems like a nicer life than being cooped up alone in a cage all day.

the biggest concern is the heat... even if i put her nest box and water bottle in with her, as the sun moves through the day, she could get really overheated and die.

any suggestions? i did search and didn't find any info about this.

thank in advance!!

Exactly. An umbrella even - one of those large patio types perhaps? Anything to give some shade.

thanks all! right now, her hutch is in a place that never gets sun, so it's never been an issue.

i'm going to try it today. :)
