We eat canned "vegetarian" baked beans about once a week -- either on toast, or with tuna and chips... french fries for you Yanks... you know, the kind in tomato sauce. My question is, can I make them homemade and freeze them? Will they freeze okay? I freeze cooked beans, but not with the sauce on them -- has anyone done this? I'd much prefer homemade, but it takes so long to make homemade I don't want to make a small batch each time we eat them. I'd much prefer to make a BIG batch once a month or so, and freeze portions. Suggestions?
