Anyone else notice that grocery prices took a jump after Christmas? At Price Rite, extra large eggs went from $.79 to $1.19 and english muffins went from $.59 to $.79. Are they trying to make up for the sale prices they offered during the Christmas season?

Noticed the same thing at my local supermarket. Told my friend who owns the place to warn me when he does that. My heart can't take all these shocks at once!! Hamburger buns were 99 cents. Quart of chocolate milk was 59 cents last week and 99 cents this week. Glad I dont need to buy these things very often. (only when ds is really buggin out for choc milk)
