High winds cause 25 deaths in Europe

    Wow, that's some fierce wind. 105 mph, that's nuts.

    Look what we had back in 1980. A Straight Line Winds of 120+ ~!! Yes over 120 because that is when the Power went out at the TV Station~! Nobody was killed though. Big High Line electric lines the Main ones coming into the city were Broken off like tooth picks~! Some people were without power for 9 Days.
    In Eau Claire, WI. about 50% of the cities trees were taken out by that wind~! Big Oaks too~ This wind was Straight line winds NO TORNADO! just straight winds, it went like 150 miles into WI. from Minn border.

    Back in the early 60's you used to be able to set your watch by the rain that started at 2:00pm every afternoon. It doesn't work that way anymore.

    I feel so bad for these people and what they've had to endure. The weather is really whacky these days.
