FYI - I saw elderberries blooming today. I just discovered a clump last year, and quickly found another this year due to the flowers. I'm going to check out the rest of the shelter belt and see if there's anymore. How about you?

Elderberries have been blooming in Central Wisconsin for roughly a week. Now is the time to mentally mark where the biggest stands are for possible picking later. Once you know what to look for, you can spot them a mile away!
