Help w/Christmas Song Stumper!

My son gave me this stumper today --

The names of most Christmas carols can be found somewhere in their lyrics. Below is listed the first two word of a line that immediately follows the one in which a carol's title appears. How many can you identify?

For instance: "Oh, what..." would be Jingle Bells.

I'm going crazy --- stuck on these...... CAN YOU HELP??? :)

"Giddy-yap, giddy-yap..."

"Right down...."

"It doesn't...."

"If only....."

Here are more -- I've figured these out! :)

"Fa La...."

"Had a...."

"Just like...."

"Underneath the..."

"It's Christmas...."

"With a....."

"How still...."

"Let your...."

"He sees...."

"All is...."

Thanks for any help!

Right down is from Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus..RIGHT DOWN Santa Claus Lane.

Giddy yap giddy yap appears in the song Sleigh Ride..but its not the second line in my version:
Sleigh Ride

Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing
Ring ting tingle-ing too
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling "You Hoo"
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap let's go
Let's look at the snow
We're riding in a wonderland of snow
Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap it's grand

No idea about the other ones.
Duh.... I can't believe I didn't get that one!!!
You're right -- they are hard! Those last three must be obscure.
OHhh your son is a tricky little devil :) I found giddy yap Look on my first post I did an edit. And I found "It Doesnt" Its in:

Let It Snow

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

IT DOESN'T show signs of stopping
And I've bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow

If only now this one will be hard to find....

I had even thought of that one, but I must have had the wrong verse humming in my head because it didn't fit.

"If only....." I keep thinking of "if I only had a brain!".... of course, Wizard of Oz songs aren't Christmas songs!!! :)
"If only......"

Ohhhh!!!! What is the song that goes.... I'll be home for Christmas... you can count on [that?]....

Isn't there a line, "if only in my dreams"? I just can't make it fit.....

I'll Be Home For Christmas
Kim Gannon, Walter Kent (c) 1943
I'll be home for Christmas
You can count on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
and presents on the tree

Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams

Here Comes Santa Claus
Gene Autry, Oakley Haldeman (c) 1947
Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
are pulling on the reins.
Bells are ringing, children singing;
All is merry and bright.
Hang your stockings and say your prayers,
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
He's got a bag that is filled with toys
for the boys and girls again.
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle,
What a beautiful sight.
Jump in bed, cover up your head,
'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight

Let It Snow!
Sammy Cahn, Jule Styne (c) 1945
Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

When we finally say good night,
How I'll hate going out in the storm;
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

...and...

Tennessee Christmas
Amy Grant, Gary Chapman (c) 1983
Come on, weather man,
give us a forecast snowy white
Can't you hear the prayers
of every childlike heart tonight
Rockies are calling, Denver snow falling
Somebody said it's four feet deep
But it doesn't matter, give me the laughter
I'm gonna choose to keep.

Another tender Tennessee Christmas
The only Christmas for me
Where the love circles around us
Like the gifts around our tree
Well, I know there's more snow up in Colorado
Than my roof will ever see
But a tender Tennessee Christmas
is the only Christmas for me.

Every now and then I get a wandering urge to see
Maybe California, maybe Tinsel Town's for me
There's a parade there, we'd have it made there
Bring home a tan for New Year's Eve
Sure sounds inviting, awfully exciting
Still I think I'm gonna keep.

Another tender Tennessee Christmas
The only Christmas for me
Where the love circles around us
Like the gifts around our tree
Well, they say in L.A. it's a warm holiday
It's the only place to be
But a tender Tennessee Christmas
is the only Christmas for me.

heheheehehe..... I won't tell!!! But you had to know WHICH ones to look in to find the correct words. :)

And here I was wondering just how you knew the "Tennessee Christmas" song.... :)
G
"Giddy-yap, giddy-yap..."

That's from Sleigh Ride...normally heard as an insturmental song, it actually has lyrics.

Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling yoo-hoo
come on it's lovely weather for a sleigh-ride together with you
Giddy-up, giddy-up let's go,
let's look at the show
we're riding in a wonderland of snow
giddy-up, giddy-up it's grand
just holding your hand
"He sees......" you when you're sleeping.
He knows when you're awake.
He knows if you've been bad or good.
So, be good for goodness sake!

Oh, You better watch out.
You better not cry.
You better not pout.
I'm telling you why....
SANTA CLAUS is coming to town!
