Hello to everyone. I'm an old semi homesteader and have been doing this most of my adult life. Gardening since I was 12.

Relatively recently made a major move and had a major illness, and due to both am still getting the "new" place up and running. Considering the houses and acre or so around them were a hoarders hovel, I think I've made amazing progress. Still massive amounts to do but I keep chipping away at that mountain a but every day.

Hope to 'talk' to many of you soon!

When we bought our place, it was a total dump. Took five years of random trips to the landfill to get rid of all the old tires. We still pick up broken glass.

We started calling the place Dogpatch because of its deplorable condition, and the name stuck!

Cleanup is hard work, but will possibly bring you closer to the place as you reclaim it. Best wishes, and take care of yourself.

Good to have another Texan on the board. I'm just outside of Austin.

We call a nearby hoarder's place Sanford and Son. When the elder gentleman passes, it's going to be an interesting time.
