Just wanted to introduce myself 
I'm a 26 year old "starter" homesteader from western Massachusetts. Hoping to buy a house with a couple acres in the future. But for now- I organically grow all heirloom veggies, seed save, can and am the proud mommy to 7 girls- my laying hens!
I'm looking for tips on how to live more frugally and possibly break away from the mundane rat race world we live in today. I grew up with my father and grandmother teaching me how to cook and make things "the old fashioned way". I want to get back to our roots.
I look forward to reading a lot on here in the next few months!
