Actually Chris, they are a winter squash. They are long, many over 2 feet long, pink outside, orange sweet flesh inside. If you like winter squash like butternut, you'll love banana squash. It's my favorite! I'll send them out if you want some.

I don't need many...six or so seeds should do. I'd just like to get two or three good plants going.

I've got ya on my list Ravenlost. I'll get them out to you within the next few days. I'll pm you when I've sent them. Just be patient with me, ok? I promise to get them out as soon as I can. I've had 37 people ask for seeds. That's a lot of packaging and mailing, but I WILL do it. Promise. :)

    ;) see i told you !!!
guys , when you get your seeds if you have never grown them before youre in for a surprise, these buggers produce what i describe as zuchinni shaped squash , its a hard shell winter squash , grows 2 ft and longer, ( the first one i ever had was 4 foot long) forgot to add they can weight like 50 lbs .....

and yes they are PINK! pretty inside ,dry sweet flesh ,
baked then served with a slight drizzle of honey and sprinkled with cinnamon , heavenly !!!! good for feeding babies, make a great squash pie, cooked squash freezes well...

the only problem with the things is thier size, however :D thats ok too , goats and chickens love them !
since most pigs love squash i assume the pigs would clean them up too ....assuming youre willign to part with any .... we cut ours, put the uncooked part in the fridge and just had it again in a couple of days, usually not a problem , they will make even squash haters think twice
Dona, i look forward to our trade :D
