hello,my wife had operation on both of her feet,for heelspurs,1 week before thanksgiving.2008.she has numbness on the top of both of her feet.have any of you have this operation and have this feeling.the doctor said this should go away,but we are getting a little concerned.thanks for any replies. brian

Hmm...if it's been more than a week since she talked to the doc, it couldn't hurt to call and ask again. Most likely tis something that will go away as 'normalcy' comes back.

Could it be that she's not moving her feet around much after surgery and causing them to 'fall asleep' ? I know that sounds simple, but sometimes it is simple.

Hope she's on the mend!

I had heal spurs , Had the Shots and all no help. I went to Walmart bought a cheap pair of tennis shoes removed the insold and carved out the sole below the spur. I then put in a soft foam with an insole. three weeks later no problems I had use the jell inserts cups and ablut everyhting else. A 12 dollar pair of shoes fixed it.
