Went to my neurologist Monday and he said I can once again drive!!!! You just can't believe how isolating it is to be unable to drive. You just feel so dependent and different. When somebody learns you cannot drive they give you the eye because they figure you are a drunk. I hate having to tell everybody I have seizures. When I do the stink eye changes pretty quickly into pity. I don't need either.

I can't wait!!!

I know how great it is. My DW had to stop driving due to seizures caused by MS. After about 6 months the neurologist said the new meds were working and she could drive again. She was so happy, said she felt liberated again.

That's great, just be careful out there. My sister has had to lose her driving privilege a couple times because of seizures after her 1990 brain surgery, she was usually shaky behind the wheel for a few days till she got back in the swing of it.

I know what a pain it was for her when she couldn't drive, very happy for you!
