When we had guineas we had no ticks none! Our horses and goats were tick free for a very long time. They were sharp eyed birds that is for sure. Eventually they were all killed by predators because they refused to roost with the chickens at night. They were also great watch dogs so to speak!
I was thinking they would be beneficial in preventing liver flukes, since they eat the intermediate host before the parasites can become infective (snails, slugs). But other than liver flukes I'm not real familiar with the internal parasites that infect goats.
I'm not sure. I have guineas and I have goats. Both for decades.
I've only ever lost 1 goat to parasites and that was maybe early 90's.
But I also worm them and try to reduce hoof to mouth contact and keep it dry so it's hard to say.
