My guinea chicks are now mostly feathered and can fly short distances...they are still in the hot house with water, wood chips, and chick starter crumbles. At what age, about, do they start eating bugs? We are having a caterpillar:hrm: infestation.

Guineas start transitioning to grown up foods by six to eight weeks old. Have they had any grit or sand to help their tummies grind up the caterpillars they'll swallow whole?
