Can I grow basil indoors? I live in northern Minnesota, so will sunlight be a problem?

    Thanks all!

I have had no problem growing herbs indoors. If your worried about sunlight, put it in a south facing window or a window that gets the most sunlight.

Like others mentioned, if you have a good south facing window with no outside obstructions, it should do okay. One year I grew it in a basement in a hydroponic system with those work shop lights over it with cool white bulbs in them (cheaper than grow lights and good results). I could easily take major cuttings every other week. Ann
