I built several boxes/crates for various storage. I started with a 2X2 frame with the top edge 2X4's placed vertical and covered it with 1/2" plywood, added 2X2 feet, then took them to a place that sprays truck bed liners and had them sprayed all over. Take a skill saw around the box splitting the 2X4 so the top and the box both have a 2X2 attached. Seal the cut edges and add hinges. Very durable and weather resistant.

Wow, that might be just what I'm looking for to be used as a "root cellar" in the garage. About how much does the liner spraying cost (if you don't mind me askin'")? Could you post a picture of one?
