Good soap for outdoor tub baths

    I've found the ideal soap for outdoor "feed trough" bathing. It's Grandpa's Pine Tar soap, usually found in natural food stores. It does a good job without leaving any soapy residue on you, and best of all the critters don't eat it as they eat oatmeal soap. So you don't have to worry about the birds attacking it the next morning.

    I think it is real soap with pine tar added. You can make your own you know. It is one of my favorite homemade soaps.

    It's one of my favorites also. I use about 10% pine tar in it and boy does it smell good!!!

    I started making pine tar soap as a way of cleaning the pot after making my pine salve! Works great and I get two products from little more effort than one!
