I was just reading the thread about Cydectin and Valbazen. How well do the feed through wormers work? I saw some put out by manna pro yesterday at the goat expo and have seen another one in the Dairy Goat Journal. Are they any good or just a waste of money?

I consider them a waste of money. I have used two different ones years ago. They didn't work well, not to mention the goats didn't like it. What good is a wormer feed pellet if the goats won't eat it?

Most (all that I have run across) of the "pellet" wormers are for maintenence worming, not the actually worming. I use Valbazen in the spring/summer and Cydectin in the fall. I also grow a bit of tobacco to give them. Redman also works.
