I have a friend who's got a 2-year old Nubian for sale. I'm want to breed a Boer to it. The reason that she is wanting to get rid of it is because she doesn't want the owner milking her. She has kidded before and let's the yungins nurse without problems or incident. She just doesn't want the owner milking her. I have no desire for milk goats, but I want to raise some Boer crosses to sale for meat. She's offered me this goat for 125. The goat is healthy and very big... What do you guys think? Is this a good deal....

P.S. I trust the people very much, we're mutual friends.

It depends on the goat and if she is disease free. Has she been tested for CL and CAE? Why wouldn't she want a milk goat milked? It's fishy to me, so I'd be hesitant.

Sorry I misunderstood. Sounds like a good price.
