This may be a dumb question, but when I clean out my goat barn, can I put the bedding/waste in my compost bin? I compost my chicken litter but wasn't sure if I could do the same with goats.

    Thanks!!

Goat poop is GOLD in the compost heap.

    Top notch stuff.

You can put your goat poop straight on the garden (or wherever you need it) - no reason to compost, it will not burn plants.

My chicken yard is part of next year's garden (4 year rotation). I put the used goat bedding in it in a pile and the chickens scratch it down, break it up, look for fly larva and generally have a blast.

All poop will compost, including your own. :)
