Please keep trying. It doesn't sound like she can deliver the kid without your intervention. Good Luck!

I hope you have small hands, or a helper with small hands. If you can *go in* and locate the kid's head, grasp the lower jaw gently, but firmly. Work the head into the birth canal. You can safely deliver a kid with head and only one leg presenting. Please let us know how it goes.

Please try to maneuver the kid's head into the birth canal before doing any strenuous pulling (pull only with contractions, and draw downward.)

You're doing great. Don't be scared. Mama depends on you! I'd help out if I were nearby.

Can you tell if the leg presenting is a front or back leg?

Oh, dear! You really need to dig around and find the head. It's probably flung back over its shoulder, and it's a very difficult presentation, but I'm sure you can find and fish that head around and into the birth canal. Don't give up!

You'll have to get past the cervix to find the head. You can do it!

It may help to upend the doe, so that her rear end is up in the air, and her head and shoulders on the ground. Gravity may help to push the kid back so you can reposition its head.

Yes, it hurts, but please! You must find the head. It is possible to pull the kid as it's presented, but I guarantee it will die.

If you can get ahold of the head, you're halfway home. Grasp the lower jaw, and work that head over the shoulder and into the birth canal. You can do this! You have my prayers for a good outcome.

If you can loop a cord around the lower jaw, it will help you to position the head correctly.

If the bottom of the hoof is facing upward, it is a back leg, and the kid is deliverable.

I'm so sorry about this trauma - for the doe and for you. I know you are doing the very best that you can. I hate to tell you this, but if that kid is not delivered, both the doe and the kid will die. It IS possible to pull that kid with only one leg presenting - It's a really hard, hard pull; I've had to do it in the past. How long has your doe been struggling with this labor?

That's too long! Doe must be exhausted. You'll have to sacrifice the kid if you want to save the doe.

At this stage, I'd pull with all my might to get that kid out of there. Oh, how I wish I could help you!
