Can goats with their unusual eyes actually see better at night or in low light like a cat? Some of us goat people here were having quite a discussion on this. What do you think?

Hmmmmm......well, I can say this, humans have the worst eye sight at night of all the mammals. I think they can see just fine, mine manage to get into trouble or can come to exactly where I am even in pitch dark where I can't barely see them.

every one of my goats never hit things in the dark , except each others heads, i think like most animals they can see better than us, which is terrible

I have read that goat's eyes are slitted as they are to allow them to see well around them. They can see nearly all the way around themselves. I think I remember reading they are also very good at seeing motion.
