Does anyone here make butter from goat milk?
How do you seperate the cream?
To get enough cream for butter you almost have to have a cream separator. I have saved cream before by skimming it off after being in the refrigerator for a couple of days. I then put it in a wide mouth quart jar in the freezer until I got enough to make butter. Took a long time though.
I use a cream seperator. If I process a couple gallons at a time I get enough to make butter. BTW, this is now my fav butter. Light, creamy and very good on warm bread.
