Gerold do they have a breed association? I have never heard of this breed in my area of the Midwest. Good luck on your search.

Gloucester is what I mean. Yes different ways to spell the name. However I did make spell it wrong. Thanks for the reply I have found some now.

Hi Ronnie there are 3-4 ways to spell the name. Then there is my way. :)

Thanks for the reply Wanda. Yes they do have a breed association. (Gloucester) They are hard to fine and a bit more costlier then most breeds. I mix them with the Hereford pig. Makes for a good hog.

I'm still planning on trying your GOS and Hereford cross Gerold. Lost my Hereford just after farrow. I can't remember the name of the condition, torsional something. Twisted up inside and I'm just not a surgery vet hospital. Couldn't do much but treat for the lesser problems and hope for the best. I did save a male and female but won't breed them.
