Are there any ginseng growers here? I was given to nice-sized ginseng roots and was wondering if they will grow? They were found about 3 days ago so they are not real dry. Hope they will grow but I guess I won't know until Spring.

I'm guessing with the value of the plants, no one is going to actually "say" that they do or do not grow. They are pretty hardy, though.

All I have read says north facing shady slopes that are moist but well drained. Don't plant in full sun and expect them to live, according to what I've read.
