Gilts may be pregnant

    I took your advise Shannon
    When I got home from work I took the piglets out to introduce them to their new moms
    I'm glad to announce that I think it's going to work
    One of the mothers was not to sure about the new babies it looked like she was going to bite it but she didn't and they are now all settled in I think

    I have done allot of reading on pigs this as been a great learning experience I didn't know how much I like pigs
    I also want to thank everyone that offered their support
    I will be posting updates as things progress

    Good job!!!

    A gilt rejecting her own babies is the exception, not the norm. I've seen sows that were pastured together nurse each other's piglets just because they can, lol
