I don't know what the correct word is for this. My problem is that when I get on ebay and type just one letter in the search area, then all the things I've searched for starting with that letter come up below. It is getting longer and I want to get rid of it, at least clear it out. How do I do this? Just got this pc 2 weeks ago and still getting used to it. Not an expert by any means. Thanks for any advice to get rid of the "drop box" or clear it

I believe you're referring to "autocomplete"

In Internet Explorer, go to :

- tools
- internet options
- content
- autocomplete
