She is beautiful. We had a baby girl yesterday too, so maybe the cycle is breaking. Does she have a name yet? I love the little whitish ring around her eye. Reminds me of eye glasses.

We do all hispanic names for the goats... I am leaning towards Isabella and calling her Bella. Gabby is really Gabriella. Ramblin acres has not had time to post a new thread yet but her pygmy had QUADS! All does!

I love Isabella/Bella. A very dignified name for her. Our little doeling is named Poppy, her mama's name is Rosie. We don't have much a name plan for our goats, just whatever comes to mind.

Sounds like a flower name plan to me. I would have done that if I had not done the hispanic plan. Poppy is adorable. I can just imagine a whole garden of doelings....violet, daisy, iris, pansy, lily......

Oh my! She looks like the twin of my Nupine, Chloe, who is 3 months old...

BTW, I read in Pat Coleby's book, "Natural Goat Care" that goats deficient in iodine throw a lot more bucks than does...I give mine kelp powder free choice...just in case...heehee...

She is so cute! A sturdy little thing and going by the look on her face~she has a mind of her own. Yep, Isabella fits her.

You are certainly on the mark on that! "Bella" was trying to nurse after just a few minutes. Crawled on her knees to Momma's teats and was trying to have at it. She was not even standing yet! She is just adorable and I am thrilled with her. Thanks!
