As usual, I cooked a huge pot of veggie soup wit 1lb. of ground beef, we have eaten it for three days and we still have a 1/2 pot. It is tomato based, has okra, corn, potatoes, green beans, onions and the ground beef. The beef was frozen and defrosted... Can I safely freeze it?

I freeze it in butter bowls, and then pop it out of the bowl and into a vac bag to seal it airlessly. Then I let it thaw out enough to flatten it out so it stacks in the freezer better. So mine gets a double thaw/freeze. And it usually keeps its body pretty well.
