Freezing eggs

    Has anyone froze eggs for later use?

    It's done fairly commonly. Lots of people will put 2-3 eggs worth into a ziplock bag (no shells just the inside) and lightly scramble them then freeze for later use. I suspect freezing the egg in shell would be messy. . .

    I was hoping to scramble up and freeze my over abundance for the winter when the ladies aren't laying.
