Has anyone froze eggs for later use?
It's done fairly commonly. Lots of people will put 2-3 eggs worth into a ziplock bag (no shells just the inside) and lightly scramble them then freeze for later use. I suspect freezing the egg in shell would be messy. . .
I was hoping to scramble up and freeze my over abundance for the winter when the ladies aren't laying.
Eggs freeze very well, if properly done. I am a (self-syndicated) newspaper columnist and would like to share part of a recent column that I wrote about freezing eggs that are on sale.

tnx for the new recipe. Going to try it this weekend!
