What other farming/homesteading/gardening/rural living/ect/ect forums are people watching I need to start gathering some for a directory I'm working on. Opinions on them would also be helpful. I know this ones the best but each has a different direction such as tractors gardens livestock ect

    Thanks

These are farming web sites, from hobby to large ag, but not so much lifestyle - but ag stuff:

http://talk.newagtalk.com - bunch of farmers discussing things

http:talk.agriculture.com - used to be a good magazine sponsered discussion area, the powers that be kind of let power go to their head & it is a very regulated, 'our way or the highway we will change software to suit us not you commoners' deal, but still the place for modern agriculture issues.

http://www.ytmag.com - old tractors & how to farm 15 acres... Old-time cheapskate slant.

http://www.tractorbynet.com - newer compact tractors & how to use them on your 10 acre hobby farm.... New modern $$$$ slant.

Search for 'Combine Talk Show' in google - something like www.harvesting.com - is _the_ place to get answers to combine issues. Really good folks, cover new machines, back to the old ones. All colors, gentle helpful people. Sponsered by a guy who makes combine parts for Red combines, but if you look hard you will get to the discussion areas.

There are many others, but these are tops.
