I finished my star quilt from our 1st block swap this year. I made it to fit my son's bed as he latched on to it as soon as he saw the blocks. Wanted to share some photos of it with you. Since there were only 19 blocks, I used my embroidery machine to make one block with date, etc. on it. I really like the way it turned out.

That turned out beautifully. I've got my ordered and pinned together. I'm hoping to get started on in at the beginning of the year. I'm trying to finish the Christmas gifts right now.

I really like what you've done with these blocks. Now I'm going to have to go look and get more inspired.

Oh, how pretty! And that blue really sets off the stars! What a neat quilt for your son to have for many years to come.

Great job, Patches! I like what you did wth these blocks. They were hard work, they deserve a pretty setting like this.

I really like how you framed them out in muslin before sashing. The extra framing makes the star blocks look uniform. Love it!!
