Yeah , we butcher all of our own animals well now we do , it’s gotten outrageous just to have someone butcher them for you so we do it ourselvesWe never could afford to eat the cattle we raised.
Of course there is! Don't underestimate the power and influence of "Big Broccoli"!Do I think there is a conspiracy? Don't know. All I know is consuming a whole food, plant-based diet is the best thing health-wise that I have ever done for myself. Been living this lifestyle for over 4 years. Do I want to force my lifestyle on others? No.
Exactly. Thinking that there is gubbermint conspiracy that is trying to coerce the people to eat more fruits and vegetables, and at the same time subsidizing the beef industry, the dairy industry, the egg & poultry industry, is ludicrous.Of course there is! When you search for recipes and such, don't search the term, "vegan." Veganism is a philosophy, almost a religion for many people. Search the phrase, "whole food, plant-based." I'd suggest two websites to start out with.I have always loved MEAT and seafood, and anything else I can fit into my mouth....I love vegetables, too, and found out a few months ago that my cholesterol was too high. I have been practicing 'part time vegetarianism' so I can hopefully lower it. I eat alot of veggies anyway, but trying to reduce red meat is the goal, along with alot of other things I love eating. Anyway, I have been looking for interesting vegetarian/vegan podcasts. I swear to you, that 98% of them are not talking about 'how' or 'what' to cook, but the 'how' of globalism, and 'how' we can all work together and become a one world of vegan/vegetarianism. Politics! Not talking about different foods to eat, but talking about socialism.... This regime has been getting their hooks into all aspects of our lives, and it wont stop anytime soon. Baby formula? It's been shipped to the border, so illegal aliens can feed their babies. This is all about destroying USA.

yes, I've listened to dr Greger, and have owned those cookbooks, too....just looking for pleasant banter about eating vegetables....not politics....my 'go to' for podcasts have been paranormal, but that's getting boring. I love history, but the ones I liked went away.... thanks! I do still have the FOK cookbook, and for a while, owned Rip Essestyn's cookbook....When you search for recipes and such, don't search the term, "vegan." hi, I am cutting back, not removing. Love love love meat......I agree about the vegetables in public officeI am becoming very suspicious about people removing meat from their meals. It could be my imagination working over time but maybe the lack of red meat might be the cause of many problems we are having in our country.
People began eating meat when they climbed down out of the trees. Everything was chugging along alright. People get the idea of not eating meat and we have riots in the streets and elect vegetables to higher office.
Humans were first vegans, then vegetarians, then carnivores.because nab by nature are meat eaters
They just weren't making much headway until they got their first taste of meat.Humans were first vegans, then vegetarians, then carnivores.
Humans started eating meat 2.6+ million years ago.Humans were first vegans, then vegetarians, then carnivores.
The worker shortage is not caused by covid-19, but rather by covid-19 'vaccine' mandates. Supply chain issues could also be mostly avoided, were it not for the mandates.I was saying that given covid happened and no matter who what when how, it has affected us with a worker shortage and worldwide supply chain issues. Same with the war in Ukraine. Add in bird flu. Add in under both dems and gop we have chosen to rely on "them" "over there" to deal with the nasty pollution and low wages and provide for "us" both in terms of products and inputs. We do have global warming, although we could argue all day if it is manmade or natural. Either way, it is affecting the water cycle and affecting crops. Now we have a perfect storm of situations that may lead to food shortages, are driving prices higher, and may put meat out of reach of many folks.
I am asking, since it appears we have some options available to mitigate these effects a tad, why aren't we? And wondering if it is to further the "green" agenda.
As to a total veg diet, I did it for a while. It did not do my body well. Blood sugar rose, got insulin resistance, and it triggered osteoporosis. My doc insists I not have that much fiber (not always a good thing for women) and plenty of meat, fish, or dairy protein. There is some evidence it is also worse for brain bleeds. But gotta admit....I do love my beans!
The term 'vegan' refers to a diet that does not include any animal products at all (no animal flesh, or animal products such as dairy, eggs, or honey). When you search for recipes and such, don't search the term, "vegan." Veganism is a philosophy, almost a religion for many people. Search the phrase, "whole food, plant-based." I'd suggest two websites to start out with.

And before that, human ancestors were eating plants and insects, and before that they were eating only plants ... can't forget mushrooms ... people have been eating them since the beginning of people too (not sure what mushrooms are classified as though, cuz they do not seem to be classified as plants or animals).Humans started eating meat 2.6+ million years ago.
