Here in zone 10 the warmph is nice until about June, then it gets very hot. My tomatoes have been is since early March, the fruit is now changing color, enought to try one today. Full flavored, small, but sweet - got second crop on the way, grape, cherry and yellow pear tomatoes underway. Have you put away your snow shovel yet?
Wow. Frost free-ish date here is June 15th. Have one for me with a little salt. Back to my hibernation hole now, muttering...
Mine ain't far behind. I have maters about as big as a silver dollar right now. Can't wait for that first good bite, and a nice fried green one.
I won't be able to even think about getting tomatoes in for another month at least. Hopefully it stays warm and dry enough to actually get a couple to ripen. You get 2 crops?! Wow!
