We have a new situation for us here. I think I remember reading about this situation before - here, in a book, I don't remember and can't find it.

Anyway, we have a doe that was bred for the first time. She started delivering on Friday. She had the nest box all ready, but had the first on the wire. The next one a while later in the box, but it was dead - very, very small. The next later that night, dead and very, very large. Yesterday morning I noticed she had pulled more hair on the wire. She hasn't ate for several days. Not drinking either.

Should I give her a shot or is it too late?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I haven't been one here in a few days and just found your post. What happened with the rabbit? Did she have more babies? Sorry about the ones you lost.

sorry about that, sounds like she might not have been quite ready to breed, has she been ok now? have you rebred her? ( i usually give 7 days from the last date of birth )
