FIRST STAWBERRY of the year!

    My wife in North west AR said she has her first strawberry that is getting really red probably will be ready tomorrow or next day!

    LOL the rabbits got their fair share last year, I need to bury the fence a bit as they were going under it. I could see them hopping across the yard to the berries, but the wife and kids liked to watch them so I did not shoot, also I hate to kill what I dont eat and they say you can get tularemia from rabbits in the summer/spring

    I have to say congratulations and I'm sorry at the same time. I know the taste of the first berry of the season. And I'll say I'm sorry because I had mine on January 30th! Wish I could have shared it with ya'll. But the bright side is mine are slowing down and your's are just about to pick up. And summer along with its 95 degree days and 60% humidity are around the corner too! Yuck. Congrats on the berry. Enjoy it.

    Mine are just starting to flower...it will be a month or so yet...sigh.

    Thanks Wish I could enjoy it I am in Kosovo my wife will cut it up into little pieces with the kids so they all get a bite.
