Anyone know the firing order for a Massey Fergeson model 165 with a 4 cylinder Continental gas engine?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Normal fireing order for a 4 cylinder is 1-3-4-2, but this may not be correct for your engine, seek more exact info.

My neighbor has a 165 4 cyl gas not sure if its a continental but I can check. I'll have to wait until he gets home as its locked up.

Buford your tractor will not run on that fireing order. It will if you make it 1342. All the cilinders have to hit to make it run right. :)

Thanks for the heads up. The information from the website was wrong and I should have known better. I had a chevy SW 1973, 350 engine that ran on 6 cylinders for years. I wouldn't want to have to buy the gas for it nowadays.
