I went outside in 17F weather with wet hair (even with a hat on and good coat)..and today I have fibro in my left shoulder and neck. Ahhhh! My left hand is tingling and sort of numb too so dangit :Bawling:

I've been taking ibprofeun and Aspercreme to the spot, also having the heating pad draped on my shoulder helps alot.

What do you do for local fibro ouchies?

This is a little exercise I found in a yoga book. put your hands together like prayer, in front of breast. keep the palms together and press gently down, allowing the elbows to 'wing' out as they want to. Gently is the key! if you can do that with out pain, hold and turn your head and look backwards left and then right, allow the shoulders to turn too.. You will feel the stretching. this a little at a time is what keeps me going!
I thought I would have to give up hand milking because of fibro pain. This stretch save me! Good luck! I know how painful it can be!
