DH and I expanded our garden this year to grow potatoes. This area was simply lawn before we tilled it. I know it needs to have fertilizer added, but I've read that too much fertilizer can cause scab on potatoes. What would be a good type of fertilizer? I have composted chicken and horse manure. How much should I add to the soil?

    Thank you for your help.
