I am looking to fence a 5 acre track of mixed pine, hardwoods and 1 acre of pasture. I would like to use goats to help clear the under brush. What would be my best bet for fencing?

get dehorned goats, and go with good field fencing, sometimes called cattle fencing. horned goats will get stuck in this. electric fencing doesnt usually work with goats. they will get shocked, scream, and continue right on through. a good idea, however, is to run a single strand of hotwire between mid-calf and knee, so the goats dont stand or rub on the fence. If there is any wild cherry in the area, cut it down and remove every leaf, as the wilted leaves and dead fall leaves will kill goats. put up t-posts every 8 feet as well.
