I have a holstien bull I am raising for meat. He is 4 months old and all he wants to do is eat. He has lots of grass, access to hay all day and fresh water. He is currently getting about 6lbs of calf grower a day but always wants more lots more. Is it OK to feed him extra or should he fill up on grass and hay. He is a big boy, about 425lbs.

Do you know he is 425# or think he is ?

if he is ........was he a bottle baby or otherwise

I feed my calves from a creep feeder so they heave free choice with competition amongst themselves approx 60# per week per calf

I estimated his weight with the chart on the link someone posted here a few days ago. He was bottle fed.
