I apologize if this has been answered here, but I sure couldn't find it.

We got a truck load of pumpkins yesterday. How do you feed pumpkins to your pigs?
Last night, we just cut them up a bit and they seemed to really like it. But, is there a better way?

Thanks

We just chuck ours in and they explode on impact - mind ours are a little soft being halloween left overs from shops and door steps. The pig then tucks straight in.

Thanks for the replies. It always helps to know what works for others, especially for those that are new to pigs like us.
We are making more work for ourselves by cutting up the pumpkins. We'll give "pumpkin tossing" a try today.

Thanks again!

we hit ours with hammers, ours are very hard to just throw and explode, then the kids throw them way up in the air and they explode. We also have a hill for my 7 y.o. to throw off of, it is their favorite chore. I;ll have to throw a few in whole, see if they'll it that way, or entertain anyway.
