I thought we could do a fun thread on our favorite country songs :)

    These are my favorites :

Reba : Fancy, She Thinks His Name Was John

Confederate Railroad : Summer in Dixie, Notorious

John Denver : Thank God I'm a Country Boy, Country Roads

Those are my favorites :) Anyone want to share?

    Well I was drunk

    the day my mama

    got out of prison

    So I went

    to pick her up

    in the rain

    but by the time

    I could get there

    in my pickup truck

    She got run over

    by a durned ol' train!

    Yes I was drunk

    the day my mama

    got out of prison.

Gosh, where would I start! I've been a country/western fan from when it wasn't popular to be one. Let me think.......

"Faded Love" I like both Patsy Clines and Willie Nelsons recordings of it.

"I can't Stop Loving You" by Ray Charles.

    More later......

And, how about "Old Shep" by just about anyone!

Take my advice, don't listen to that one if you've recently lost a loved pet!
