This is something new for me. One of my Sebastopol geese is laying again. She did lay and hatch goslings this spring, two of which were gray saddleback.
So far there are 4 eggs and she is starting to spend more time on them.

I'm going to let her sit even though the eggs, should they be fertile, will hatch around Halloween. Never had goslings hatch in the fall.

Anyone have experience with this?

No but they are some beautiful birds ya got there (we have new chicks hatched out over the weekend, with all this rain and mud, momma is just sitting there with the little ones tucked in tight, under a tarp) - should be fine with broody mama doing all the work...

Not geese, but ducklings I hatched this past April laid a
few eggs this early September . Unusual, but it happened.
I did hatch some late august chicks that I never tried before hatching
that late for the northland . They feathered out nice and look
fine for the winter. I only don't know when they'll moult.

They really are lovely, I kind of wish I had an artesian pond....I would surely have some of those pretty birds.
