Ya know its going to get to the point I am not buying anything at the store, :grump: so many recalls and so many companies, how can you keep up. Make ya glad you grow your own food and meat, make everything home made when and if possible, now if I could grow salt and pepper and wheat for flour I would never have to go to store.

Castleberry has expanded their recall to include more products and even some canned dog food.

Thank you for posting this. I have 6 cans of Black Rock Chili with that number on it. We've already eaten two cans of it a few weeks ago but don't want to take the chance to eat anymore.

Nice of them NOT to offer a refund... just discard them. Glad it wasn't something I had a great deal of.
Thanks again.

Ummm....they pack chili and CANNED dog food????!?!!??
God Bless,
Michele
Packed on the same production line, same equipment. The only difference between dog food and canned chili is the label. I think I'll pass on the chili next time I'm at Steak-n-Shake.
"We believe we have isolated the issue to a situation of under-processing on one line of our production facility," said a statement from the company.
