My sis lent me her handheld ultrasound for pigs. I had never used it before, and Wow! It was not so hard to use. I have a very large sow who I was not sure if she took when I AI-ed her. I bred 6, three sows and three gilts. Two were in obvious heat after three weeks, but the sow I mentioned was rather iffy. She had 19 her last litter, raised 18, so I hated to have to eat her. She preg-toned positive. It is the coolest little tool. If you can borrow one when there's doubt about a pregnancy, it's worth it.
