Eoghan just got the stitches out of his eye and it looks really good! The vet said the puncture has healed and there is no sign of atrophy or infection. He is cautiously optimistic that we've saved the eye!

:banana02:

Only time will tell if Eoghan has retained any eyesight. Thank you all so much for the prayers/healing vibes. Looks like my little runt is going to be okay!

Oh...he weighs just over three pounds now!

When I read that that little puppy gained a pound in one week, I told Roger that Eoghan has the will-to-live!

When Schnitzel came here he only weight 2 pounds but in one week, he gained a pound too.

Am so happy about his eye.

I think he does now Ardie. The day I got him I was afraid he was going to die while we were waiting for the vet to come into the office! Now he has a round little warm tummy that makes him waddle when he walks, he pounces on the other dogs' tails and chews on our clothes and acts like a normal little puppy.

Oh, yeah...I am totally in love with him too (and so is Brenna!).
