Count me also as a cilantro hater. Tastes like soap.

Neat site, however! I was particularly charmed by:
I may have to try that. I'm sure that when I lift my arm and a nutmeg falls out, it'll attract some sort of attention, anyhow.

I love cilantro. How in the world can you like a good salsa without cilantro?

Cuss a bit when you were a kid, Bink? ;)

Not that I'd know what soap tastes like... Nope, not me...

Cilantro doesn't taste like soap to me.

Gin, OTOH, does taste like Ajax dish soap...

Whoa. Blast from the past! It's been a long time since I read any Frank Herbert!

Checked out the Encyclopedia of Spice site, though, and that makes for some fascinating reading! Granted, it's not as exciting as Dune, but it's still pretty cool!

    Still do! :D

    Ohh...you got the fancy soap.
I don't care for most gin, but Tanqueray is pretty nice. If you haven't tried it, you might.

Me, too! All that soap, didn't wash a thing out at all!

Nah, it'll just remind me of Mommie Dearest, trying to keep the tooth marks off her bar soap!

So, cilantro is preferable to soap AND gin!

BTW, do those of you who don't care for cilantro also dislike coriander?

Wonder what happens if you tuck it under your RIGHT armpit?

And if people mistake the nutmegs for acorns, maybe they will think you are a mighty oak? Or maybe, just a nut. ;)

Coriander's good, and has its uses. Several fine beers include a hint of coriander. I don't believe any use cilantro, though.

I'm afraid they'd just think it was a tick.

Did you know that coriander is cilantro seed?

That would be one giant tick!

    Oh.

You meant the behavior, not the nutmeg.

    I knew that.

Yes, I know that but it doesn't taste like cilantro. Now if a recipe calls for green coriander, they mean cilantro....[IMG]
